AAD (Access to Archival Databases) Various databases are included here: World War II Army enlistment records, records of World War II prisoners of war, and records about Civil War battle sites.
American Battle Monuments Commission Several searchable databases are offered: burial listings for several wars (includes some names of those interred overseas or those who went missing in action) and casualties of World War I, World War II, and the Korean War.
American Merchant Marine at War Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find ship lists, names of World War II casualties, names of prisoners, and more.
Civil War Soldiers & Sailors System "The Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System is a computerized database containing very basic facts about servicemen who served on both sides during the Civil War." Over 6 million names of soldiers, sailors, prisoner, and medal awardees are entered. Information about battle histories is also available.

Rutgers Oral History Archives http://oralhistory.rutgers.edu A collection of over 400 interviews of men and women who served in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
Search the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Wall http://www.thewall-usa.com/index.asp#search Search by last name. Once the record is retrieved, you can view personal comments or photos.

From the Library of Congress, browse by last name, military branch, state or search for a veteran who has been interviewed by the history project. Some of the records include photographs and video.
