Hotlines and Text Lines - Mental Health

Sometimes a crisis happens and you need help right away, whether for yourself or a loved one. You may not have a mental health professional or other support system you can rely on when life becomes overwhelming. That's why the following hotlines exist. You can call (or in some cases, text) one of the numbers below and be connected in minutes with someone who is trained to listen, be empathetic, and suggest relevant resources for you, for a variety of issues that you may be facing. The services listed below are available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week unless otherwise noted. All of the resources below are anonymous and free of charge.
