Code of Federal Regulations Searchable from 1996 to the present, the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) encompasses and organizes general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the executive departments and agencies of the U.S. government.
Federal Register This daily publication of proposed rules, executive orders, and presidential documents is searchable from 1994 forward.
