In the time it takes you to read one whole book, you could read many, many articles, thereby getting many, many viewpoints (and also impressing school teachers). Ask your librarian to help you with these great databases:

Browsing the Shelves
The Dewey Decimal Classification System arranges nonfiction books by subject. Most of the nonfiction books about Native Americans are in the 970-971s, but some are also in the 973s, the 975s, and the 978-979s.
You can also find poetry and plays by Indigenous authors in the nonfiction section. American poetry can be found in 811 and American plays can be found in 812. To search for these, you might try the following subject searches:
