Family Connections / Services for Adolescents

Urban League of Essex County / Adolescent Parent Program

"In 2003, the Department of Labor Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiative launched Ready4Work, a three-year pilot program to address the needs of ex-prisoners....Ready4Work placed faith-based and community organizations at the center of social service delivery to ex-offenders. It placed an emphasis on employment-focused programs that incorporate mentoring, job training, job placement, case management and other comprehensive transitional services."  Here is a report on the results of that program.
