NPRC also stores medical treatment records of retirees from all services, as well as records for dependent and other persons treated at naval facilities. This site provided for those seeking information regarding the military personnel, health and medical records stored at NPRC.

This database is updated daily. Search for burial locations of veterans. Most requests take approximately four weeks for a reply. Be sure to include your return mailing address, phone number or e-mail address with your written request when you sent it to the address above. If you cannot locate the person you are searching for, please provide the following information on each individual:

  • Full name, including any alternate spellings
  • Date and place of birth
  • Date and place of death
  • State from which the individual entered active duty
  • Military service branch

Visitors can find information on a variety of topics that supply an abundance of vetted resources.

Stateside legal was created to accomplish 3 goals (1) to provide the public with legal information and resources important to the rights and benefits of individuals with military service, as well as their families and caregivers, (2) to provide the public with a national directory (searchable by state or zip code) if free and low-cost legal service providers, state agencies, law school clinics, and other resources that can help enforce legal rights and benefits, and (3) to provide specialized information and resources for advocates and attorneys who want want to help veterans, service members, and their families.
