"The state income tax filing deadline and the corporation business tax filing deadline have been extended from April 15 to July 15, as part of the State's response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This is an automatic extension. There is no need to file for an extension. Additionally, the deadline for the quarterly payment due on April 15 is extended to July 15. The second quarter payment will still be due on June 15. Previously, the U.S. Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service announced that the federal income tax filing due date is also extended from April 15 to July 15."--source is the NJ COVID-19 Information Hub.
